Staff

I started out my career in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and initially was assigned to the 3rd Marine Division 3Rd Recon Bn, in Vietnam. Later, I was trained as a Physician Associate and served at various hospitals and clinics. After earning a Master's degree in Health Care Administration, I changed commissions and worked at various hospitals as an administrator. In 1979, I began a new life as a believer in Jesus Christ and have given my heart to Him. He called me to preach in 1982 and I spent the next several years being equipped to preach and teach, attending Liberty University, Trinity University, and Upstate Bible College in New York. Upon retirement from the military, and while continuing my job as a hospital administrator, I also started Harmony Bible Church with a group of other believers in South Texas. After several years, I felt the Lord calling me to move and I found a secular job in Gainesville, Texas, moving there in 1998. In 1999, the Lord also enabled me to start another church with a group of believers called New Life Bible Church. The church began to thrive.  I retired from administration and clinical practice in 2006 and 2017, respectively, and in 2019 I retired from New Life Bible Church. Having been led by the Lord to move to Mena, Arkansas, the Lord took me to Cherry Hill Gospel Church, and after about 10 months of serving there, I was called to be the pastor.  I am married to Elizabeth and together we have 5 children. Elizabeth teaches the children at Cherry Hill and I pastor the church and teach bible study on Wednesday evenings.
